Virtual Event Statement
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, CHESS Health Solutions has made the decision to transform the 2020 Move to Value Summit to a virtual event. Transitioning the conference to a virtual event was a complex decision. It was done with consideration for the safety of our registrants, presenters, staff, and communities, based on official health recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and the State of North Carolina, where the conference is held.
Our decision was based on an intimate understanding of what health care leaders are facing in their own communities as they continue to heroically face new challenges this pandemic presents to our health care system. We wish to avoid any attendance barriers, such as self-imposed caregiver quarantine or organizational policies restricting employee travel.
CHESS Health Solutions is a national leader in assessing and managing risk. We sincerely hope that by October 13, this pandemic will be behind us. However, having analyzed the current available data, we have determined an in-person conference to not be worth the risk of seeding more infections.
Our virtual conference will be just as informative and meaningful for everyone involved. In fact, it will be an even better event because of the innovative opportunities a virtual event can provide.
