Why CHESS?

CHESS enables our value partners to monetize their investments in the delivery of value based health care.  We work collaboratively with partners to understand the needs of the patient populations they serve, helping transform care delivered to those patients through innovative team-based solutions. Our management team features a diverse group of professionals with a deep knowledge of the industry and experience in the value-driven environment. In addition to understanding how health care organizations need to be ready to meet the challenges of the rapidly changing clinical landscape, our team also brings financial, IT, and analytics expertise focused on provider risk. We are a physician-led group with the knowledge and resources to manage delegated premiums contracted from major payers.

On behalf of value partners, CHESS negotiates value based payer contracts and risk-based agreements to reward providers financially for focusing on cost and quality. CHESS works closely with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and manages several Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), such as the Next Generation ACO (CHESS NextGen, LLC) and the MSSP Shared Savings Program ACO models.
